Male John Brooks

John was born in 1775 in South Carolina, United States.  John's father was James Brooks and his mother was Margaret Thomason. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Simon, John, Aaron, Jacob, Aaron, Esau, Jacob and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Joseph, Dudley, William Elisha, Dorothy Ann and Hannah.
