    This letter reads:
    Fannet Township Cumberland County path-vally
    August Ye 23d 1783
    Loving Brother and sister
    These are to let you know that we are all in health at present for
    which we have reason to be thankful tothe Almighty for ye Manyfold
    mercies which he is dayly Confering on us. Dr. Brother we Receved yours
    
    
    
    
    
    
    bearing Date July 26 which was a great Saticefectionto us to hear of
    your being in a Reasonable state of health and in the land of the living
    as you write that you are greatly broken in bodily Strength. I Expect
    that you will be Endeavouring to be puting our Lord & Saveour Jesus
    Christ for RIghtousness & Strength so that as ye outward man is Decaying
    day to day you may be renewed in the inner man and rest on Christ for
    your_______Salvation. Dr. Brother it hath pleased the Almighty in the
    Cours of his provinence to provide an help mete for me we were Maried

    years of age & ye youngest 10we all live in love and Unity which a great
    comfort to us Both.
    My son Benjamin is Determined to go out to see you against 1st 2nd
    week of October he Expects that your son Isaac will go with him over the
    River on the Search of land.
    I have Nothing more that is meterial to write you at present, my son

    As it hath pleased the Almighty in the wise ordering Dispesations of
    his providence who ordereth all things according to ye Council of his own
    will to bring us to an Affinity I would be very Disirous to have an
    appertunity of being aqwent with you. You wrote of coming down against

    body would permit yt you could come this fall or if you cannot come
    please to write to me with the first apportunity with such Cordial and
    Refreshing Advices as you have formerly wrote to her who is now my
    Companion
