He returned to Italy and returned with the children named Lucy, Jennie, and his wife Rosalia Scoma. Joe and Sam were born in Patterson apparently. Exact time of arrival in Patterson area is uncertain. They lived in Patterson for some time and then decided to return to New York for some reason. Later, they returned to Patterson and remained there until death. Rosa died in Franklin, and was buried in Patterson. Aunt Grace said that he also had a brother called John. Details about him are non-existent as of 13 Oct 1991.
