Effie Hallett

Effie was born on April 29th, 1877 in Cresco, Howard, IA, USA. Effie's father was George Emmett Hallett V and her mother is Elizabeth Schmitt. Her paternal grandparents are George Edmond Hallett IV and Rebecca Toulouse; her maternal grandparents are John Schmitt and Sally Northrup. She had five brothers and a sister, named Charles, Edmond Grant, Alvin, Julian Wilbur, George E. and Mattie. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 47 on October 24th, 1924 in Rosepine, Vernon, LA, USA. She was buried on October 29th, 1924 in Rosepine, Vernon, LA, USA.

General Notes
- Burial date may not be exact. She is buried in the Rosepine cemetery under a small marker next to Seth Oben with the name of Mrs. Lillienthal. Perry confirmed that was his mother and that he never got around to buying a proper grave marker for her.
  
  Ancestry.com records show a Martha Smith as Effie's mother, also shown in other sites as Elizabeth Smith. Spelling differences not reconciled.
  
  In 1900 at the age of 23 records show she lived in Georgia. In 1906 at age 29 she supposedly lived in Canada and married Seth while there.
