Tjerck Claessen Dewitt

Tjerck Claessen was born in 1620 in Grootholdt, Zunderland, Holland.¹ Tjerck Claessen's father was Nicholas Dewitt and his mother was Tjaatje Van Lueven. His paternal grandparents were Jan De Witt and Jacomina Van Barestijne. He was an only child. He died at the age of 80 on February 17th, 1700 in Kingston, Ulster, New York, USA.¹
