Matthew Allyn

Matthew was born on April 17th, 1605 in , Braunton, Devon, England and his baptism took place there on April 17th, 1605.¹ Matthew's father was Ralph Allen and his mother was Margaret Wyott. His paternal grandfather was Richard Allen. He had a brother named George. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 65 on February 1st, 1671 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut. He was buried on September 12th, 1671 in Windsor, Hartford, Connecticut.¹¹
