William Carson

William was born in 1715 in Ulster, , , Ireland.¹ William's father was John Linn Carson and his mother was Sarah Dickey. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Harvey Carson and Margaret Jane Wilson. He had a brother named Samuel. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 58 in 1773 in Iredell, North Carolina, United States. He was buried in Morrison’s Graveyard in Iredell County, North Carolina.²¹
