Thomas Bishop

Thomas was born in 1618 in <, Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, England>.¹ Thomas' father was Thomas Bishop and his mother is Ann Douglas. His paternal grandfather was Richard Bishop and his paternal grandmother is Ann Bishop. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 on February 7th, 1670 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts.¹

- THOMAS BISHOP was born in England about 1618, and lived most his life in Ipswich, Essex, MA. He died Feb. 7, 1670/71. His estate was valued at above five thousand pounds, which was a large fortune for the times. He served in many public offices. He was Deputy for Ipswich to the General Court in 1666. He was licensed to sell strong liquors from 1666-70.
