Maria Wilhelmina van Blerk (Schieke) 
Maria Wilhelmina was born on December 24th, 1903. Maria Wilhelmina's father was Simon Petrus van Blerk and her mother was Maria Wilhelmina Joubert (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Simon Petrus van Blerk and Jacomina Hendrina Louw (van Blerk); her maternal grandparents were Jan Hendrik Hofmeyer Joubert and Sarah Margareatha Jordaan. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Simon Petrus, Jan Hendrik Hofmeyer, Sarah Margaretha, Jacomina Hendrina, van Blerk, Rachel Elizabeth and Hester Anna. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 87 on November 14th, 1991. She was buried in Silverton, main cemetery.General Notes
Nickname was Marie and she taught at La Rochelle in Paarl.
