Margaret Johanna x was born in 1883 in Colesberg.  Margaret Johanna x's father was Frederick van Blerk and her mother was Lucy (van Blerk).  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 36 on June 6th, 1919 at 136 Market Road, Newlands, Johannesburg.

They had five sons and four daughters, named Frederick Harry, Alfred, John, Norman, Edward John, Amy Frances, Elizabeth Dorris, Maud and Francis Nellie.
