Carol Anne was born on October 27th, 1948 in Mowbray. Carol Anne's father was Harold Cecil van Blerck and her mother was Joan Manser (van Blerck). Her paternal grandparents were William Crawford van Blerck and May le Roux (van Blerck); her maternal grandparents were Henry Wallace Manser and Mabel Jackson (Manser). She has two brothers and four sisters, named Lawrence William Henry, David Mark, Diane Rose-Mary, Marilyn Mabel, Susan May and Sheryl June.-
