Alfred William was born in September 1874 in Camberwell, London, England.1   Alfred William's father was Charles REYNOLDS and his mother was Mary Ann Elizabeth HOOKER.  His paternal grandparents were Henry REYNOLDS and Mary CLARKE. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Henry John, Charles Herbert, Frederick George, Minnie and Ada Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 66 on April 9th, 1941 in The County Institution, Faversham, Kent.
