Florence Mabel was born in 1891 in Shelfanger, Norfolk.  Florence Mabel's father was David POTTER and her mother was Anna COBB.  Her paternal grandparents were George POTTER and Elizabeth BALE. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Harry, Gad, Charles Robert, Weston David, Amelia and Justina Anna.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.
