Edward Lawrence was born in 1871 in Sutton At Hone, Kent.  Edward Lawrence's father was Isaack MAY and his mother was Elizabeth LAWRENCE.  His paternal grandparents were William MAY and Mary. He had a brother and two sisters, named Digby Lawrence, Alice Amelia and Minnie.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 1 in 1872 in Malling District.
