Richard was born on September 10th, 1809 in St Luke, Middlesex.  Richard's father was Richard LOCKYER and his mother was Elizabeth Catherine MILLER. He had a brother and three sisters, named William George, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 16 in 1825.  He was buried on April 15th, 1825 in Bunhill Fields.
