John was born in 1757 in Marden, Kent.  John's father was William LADUMS and his mother was Anne.  His paternal grandparents were John LADOMS and Martha AYHERST. He had two brothers named William and James.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 41 in 1798.  He was buried on April 29th, 1798 in Marden, Kent.
