William EFFAMEY

William was born in 1831 in Romsey, Hampshire. William's father was Stephen EFFAMEY and his mother was Martha WREN. His paternal grandparents were Martin EFFAMEY and Elizabeth HARDING; his maternal grandparents were John WREN and Elizabeth VASE. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named George, Charles, Edwin, Alfred, Frederick, Henry, John, Jane, Elenor, Elizabeth, Fanny and Sarah. He was the oldest of the thirteen children.
