Галимә was born on October 1st, 1859.  Галимә's father was Сайфулла (Бурлак Сайфулла) Сагыйтович Сагыйтов and her mother was Фәрхәнә Габдри кызы.  Her paternal grandfather was Сагыйт Габделкарим улы and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Нигмәтулла, Вәлиулла, Гайнулла, Ярулла, Мөхәммәтша and Мәрхәбә.  She is the second youngest of the seven children. She had nine half-brothers and a half-sister, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Хабибулла, Захидулла, Фатхулла, Мәрхүбҗамал, Сәрвиҗамал, Мөхәммәди, Хөсниҗамал, Мостафа, Рәхмәтулла, Бибифәтхия and Хобби.
