William was born in 1730 in Chatham, Pittsylvania, Virginia.1   William's father was Moses A Waldron and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Hendrick Waldron and Margarita Vanvranken.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 80 in September 1810 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1
