Helen, known as Lena, was born on May 6th, 1878.  Lena's father was George M Sturm and her mother was Margaretha (Martha) Disque (Sturm).  Her paternal grandfather was John Sturm and her paternal grandmother is Dora Stratton (Strum); her maternal grandparents were Christoph Jakob Disque and Anna Maria Schaffer (Disque). She had a brother and five sisters, named George, Maria, Anna, Sadie, Kate and Ollie.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at 3 months old on August 19th, 1878.
