Barbara Mackay

Barbara was born in 1555 in Strathnaver, Sutherland, Scotland.¹ Barbara's father was Iye Du Mackay and her mother was Christian Sinclair. Her paternal grandparents were Donald MacKay and Helen Sinclair; her maternal grandparents were John Sinclair and Agatha Groat. She was an only child. She died at the age of 25 in 1580 in Bighouse, Sutherland, Scotland.¹
