Jacob was born in 1852.  Jacob's father was Christoph Jakob Disque and his mother was Anna Barbara Florenz.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Daniel Disque and Gertrud Huber. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Anton, Johann, Georg, Heinrich, Helena, Catherine, Margaret and Christina. He had a half-sister named Martha.  He died at the age of 72 in 1924.
