Йосиф, known as Йоши, was born on January 2nd, 1950 in Казанлък.  Йоши's father was Георги  Йосифов Иванов and his mother was Йоханна (Кака Ани) Димитрова Анчева.  His maternal grandparents were Димитър Анчев Анчев and Маргарита Анчева. He had a brother named Димитър.  He died by commiting suicide at the age of 21 in 1971 in Габрово.
