Hannah (Betsey) Spinney

Hannah, known as Betsey, was born about 1746 in Kittery, York County, Maine. Betsey's father was Jonathan Spinney and her mother was Sarah Parker. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Spinney and Elizabeth Knight; her maternal grandparents are Nathanial Parker and Hannah Blood. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Nathaniel, David, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the six children.
