George B. Spinney

George was born on May 29th, 1789 in Georgetown, Maine. George's father was Jeremiah Spinney and his mother was Abigail Barstow. His paternal grandparents were John Spinney and Joanna Pettegrew. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Moses, John, Daniel, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Eliza, Sophia, Jerusha and Mary. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 85 on October 21st, 1874 in Phippsburg, Maine.
