Christopher was born on February 26th, 1554 in Freston, Suffolk County, England and his christening took place there on February 26th, 1554.1   Christopher's father was Humphrey Manning and his mother was Eunice (Ellen) Ungle.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Munning and Lady Barker. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William, Philippe, Humphrey, Henry, Edmund, Thomas, Agnes, Margaret, Ellen, Johan and Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children.  He died in England.1
