Samuel Dow

Samuel was born on October 21st, 1718. Samuel's father was Deacon Samuel Dow and his mother was Mary Page. His paternal grandparents were Deacon Samuel Dow and Abigail Hobbs; his maternal grandparents are Christopher Page and Abigail Tilton. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Jonathan, Abigail, Mary, Hannah, Tabitha, Sarah and Comfort. He was the oldest of the nine children.

General Notes
- Samuel succeeded as deacon but failed of re-election in 1792. He signed the Association Test, was selectman for a year, and for a brief time town clerk.
