Mahlon Chipman Dow

Mahlon was born on August 3rd, 1894. Mahlon's father was James Buchanan Dow and his mother was Ellen Metcalf. His paternal grandparents were John Chipman Dow and Azubah J. Hayden; his maternal grandparents are Eli Metcalf and Diana Clough. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Henry, Lloyd, Maude, Constance and Dorothy. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 23 on February 5th, 1918 in Camp Devons, Ayer, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
