Dr John Dow

John was born on September 3rd, 1796. John's father was Benjamin Dow and his mother was Tabitha Blake. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Dow and Elizabeth Batchelder. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Sewell, Nathan, Benjamin, Polly, Myra, Tabitha, Eliza, Sarah, Lydia, Lucy and Abigail. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 74 on March 31st, 1871 in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
