Ellen Maria Dow

Ellen was born on May 14th, 1854 in Albany, Orleans County, Vermont. Ellen's father was Luther Calvin Dow and her mother was Lovina Dewey. Her paternal grandparents were Greeley Dow and Nancy Glines; her maternal grandparents are Chandler Dewey and Lucinda Buck. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Wallace, Nelson, Avis, Emma, Clara, Ida, Flora, Lizzie and Charlotte. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
