Alexander Clark Dow

Alexander was born on December 7th, 1848. Alexander's father was Jeremiah Dow and his mother was Lucretia Ann Glines. His paternal grandfather was Jacob Dow and his paternal grandmother is Mary Atwell. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Frank, Herbert, Albert, Byron, Jeremiah, Joanna, Elizabeth and Myrtil. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 47 on September 7th, 1896.

- Alexander holds the record for the most marriages, six times before he was 41. A kindly and respected man, he was no Blue Beard, merely unlucky in matrimony.
