Matthew Blair

Matthew was born about 1704 in Blair, Athall, Perth, Scotland.¹

Birth Notes

Matthew's father was Robert Blair and his mother was Isabel Rankin. His paternal grandfather was Robert Blair and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were David Rankin and <Unknown>. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named David, John, William, James, Francis, Robert, Joseph, Dolly, Sarah, Dorothy, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died on October 9th, 1770 in Blandford, Massachusetts.¹
