Orenge Ida Newman

Orenge Ida was born in March 1874 in Alabama.¹ Orenge Ida's father was Seaborn M Newman and her mother was Malinda Redmon Hawkins. Her paternal grandfather was William Newman and her paternal grandmother is Mary M "Polly" Arnett; her maternal grandparents were Robert A Redmon and Julia Ann Burgess. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Sebe, W W, John Mack, Jessie and Eugenia Elizabeth. She is the second oldest of the six children.
