Florence was born in October 1885 in Indiana.  Florence's father is Martin T. Strain and her mother is Lily Eta Kreiter.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Krieter and Catherine Paulus.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 82 in 1967.
