Mary was born on January 18th, 1775 in Northhampton Co.,PA..1   Mary's father was Philip Jacob Acker and her mother was Elizabeth Fadely.  Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Acker and Eberharina Heisler; her maternal grandparents were Michael Fadely and Catherine Warthaman. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named John, Philip, Andrew, Conrad, Jonathan, Peter, Jacob, Michael, Catherine, Elizabeth, Magdalena Polly and Barbara.  She died at the age of 88 on November 7th, 1863 in Abingdon.1
