Nelson Sargent

Nelson was born in April 1893 in Ontario.¹ Nelson's father was Lester Sargent and his mother was Rose Ellen Winfield. His paternal grandparents were Oran Atwood Sargent and Ann Blanche Hinds; his maternal grandparents are John Winfield and Eliza Smith. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas L, John, Frank, Richard, Jessie Ellen, Lilly, Lillian and Adelia. He is the fifth oldest of the nine children.
