Maria Komnene

Maria was born in February 1106 in Balabista, Makedonia, Greece. Maria's father was Ioannis Emperor Byzantine Empire and her mother was Piroska Princess of Hungary. Her paternal grandparents were Alexius I Comnenus and Irini Dukaina; her maternal grandparents were Ladislaus I King of Hungary and Adelaide von Rheinfelden. She had three brothers named Andronikos, Isaak and Manolis I. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 38 in 1144 in Balabista, Makedonia, Greece.
