Guillaume I Joigny

Guillaume I was born in 1156 in Joigny, Yonne, Bourgogne, France. Guillaume I's father was Renaud De Joigny and his mother was Adele De Nevers. His paternal grandfather was Guy I De Joigny and his paternal grandmother is Wandelmode De Beaujeu; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume De Nevers and Ide Ou De Carinthie. He had a brother and a sister, named Gaucher and Agnes. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 63 in 1219.
