Robert M was born in August 1898 in Ontario.1   Robert M's mother was Mary Sherry.  His maternal grandparents are Bryan Sherry and Johanna. He had thirteen brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Stanley, Thomas S, Allan A, Allan A, Wilford, Willifred John, Willifred John, Robert N, Robert M, Arthur, Arthur, Robert N, Harry, Elise, Annie Vera, Annie Vera, Johanna E, Johanna E and Johanna H.
