Matilda Hesdin

Matilda was born in 1074 in Toddington, Bedfordshire, , England. Matilda's father was Ernulf De Hesdin and her mother was Emmelina De Normandy. Her paternal grandfather was Gerard Seigneur de Hesdin and her paternal grandmother is Gerard De Hesding; her maternal grandfather was Robert De Normandy. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Ernulf De, Warine, Warine, Matilda, Maud, Maude, Sibille and Avelina. She was the seventh oldest of the nine children.
