Eliza Barwick

Eliza was born on May 10th, 1839 in TASMANIA. Eliza's father was Edward Barwick and her mother was Elizabeth Jarman. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Barwick and Anne Graves. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Edward W Metcalfe, Thomas, John William, Alfred, Arthur Frederick, Jane, Eliza, Elizabeth Ann and Francis Amelia. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 75 on July 12th, 1914 in Launceston TASMANIA.

General Notes
- On the 10 May 1839 Elizabeth Barwick,wife of Edwars , gafve birth to a daughter whom she named Eliza, a namesake for the child who had died durind the voyage from England.
  Eliza Barwick married Richard Fleming in St,. Peters church ,
  oatlands on 1 August 1860
  
  Two children were born of this marriage before the Flemings travelled ( aboard the vessel Hargraves) to the goldfields of the Wyndham areaof New Zealand. They departed Hobart in March 1863
  
  Whilst in New Zaland Eliza Fleming gave birth to two of her daughters Afhaid Whyndam and Mary Ann.
  
  By 1870 Richars and Eliza Fleming had returned to Tasmania and settled at Antill Ponds.
  Eight more children were born to this coup;e in TasmaniRichard Fleming died at Antill Ponds on the 28 Feb 1903 and his wife died at the home of their youngest son Alan in Launceston on the 12 July 1914
  Both are burried in St. Peters Church of England Cemetery Oatlands.
