John Jay (Joy)

John was born on September 30th, 1672 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. John's father was John Jay and his mother was Mercy Bartlett. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jay and Joan Gallop; his maternal grandparents were Robert Bartlett and Mary Warren. He was an only child. He died at the age of 52 in 1724 in Alloway Creek, Salem New Jersey.
