Martha was born on July 19th, 1663 in Gotha and her baptism took place on July 19th, 1663.  Martha's father was Andreas Schwabhaeuser and her mother was Anna Elisabeth Eckardt. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Christoph, Johann, Conrad, Johann, Anna, Anna and Anna.  She was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
