Hugh De was born about 1240 in , Kinderton, Cheshire, Eng.  Hugh De's father was William De VENABLES and his mother is Mrs. William De VENABLES.  His paternal grandparents are Gilbert De VENABLES and Margery De HATTON. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, William De, Hamon De and Miss De.  He died in 1269.
