Maude De was born about 1041 in Of, Mortaigne, S-Mnch, France.  Maude De's father was Roger De MONTGOMERY and her mother was Mabel TALVAS.  Her paternal grandparents are Roger De MONTGOMERY and Josceline De PONTEAUDEMER; her maternal grandfather is William TALVAS. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Robert II De, Hugues De, Phillip, Roger "The Poitevin", Robert, Arnulph De, Emma, Mabel and Sibyl De.  She died in 1107.  Her burial was in Grestain Abbey.
