Zachariah Thomas was born in 1730 in Overwharton, Stafford, Va.  Zachariah Thomas' father was James HAGGARD and his mother is Elizabeth GENTRY.  His paternal grandparents are Lord HAGGARD and Eleanor; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas GENTRY and his maternal grandmother is Mrs. Nicholas Gentry I. He had ten brothers named Nathaniel, Edmund, Gray Or Granville, James, Richard, William, John, Frank French, Granville (Gray) and French.  He died at the age of 30 in November 1760 in Southwest Terr., Nc, Now Tennessee.
