William De was born about 1185 in Of Buckinghamshire, England.  William De's father was Ingelram De FIENNES and his mother was Sibyl De TINGRIE.  His paternal grandparents are Alan De FIENNES and Mrs Alan FIENNES; his maternal grandfather is Pharamus De Boloin De TINGRIE. He had four brothers named John De, Ingelram De, Thomas De and Eustache De.  He died in 1241 in Holy Land.
