Ezekiel was born on May 19th, 1662 in Gloucester, Essex, England and his baptism took place in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.  Ezekiel's father was Anthony DAY and his mother was Susan Or Susanna MATCHET.  His paternal grandfather is DEE; his maternal grandparents are Mr. MATCHETT and (Miss). He had nine brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Timothy, Anthony Or Timothy, John, Ezekiel, Timothy, Nathaniel, Samuel, John Joseph and Elizabeth.  He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 61 on February 18th, 1724 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.  His burial was on February 21st, 1724 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.
