Henry De was born about 1145 in Of, Clist Champernon, Devonshire, England.  Henry De's father was Jordan De CHAMPERNON (CAMPO ARNULFI) and his mother was Mabel Of GLOUCESTER.  His maternal grandparents are Robert, Earl Of GLOUCESTER and Mrs-Robert, Earl Of GLOUCESTER. He had two brothers named Richard De and Jordan.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died after 1191.
