George Ackland was born on February 24th, 1892 in Carberry Man Can.  George Ackland's father was William BURTON and his mother was Sara Ann TAYLOR.  His paternal grandparents are William BURTON and Philadelphia MESSENGER; his maternal grandparents are Thomas TAYLOR and Esther ACKLAND. He had three brothers named Ernest William, William Arthur and Fred.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at 9 months old on December 12th, 1892.
